A sound variation for videogame 'Crowd Sign 1.2' by Mikhail Maksimov presented at 'Art of the Future' international biennale 2021-2022 at Moscow Multimedia Art Museum.

'Crowd Sign’ interprets the mechanisms of authoritarianism. The viewer becomes the controller of a virtual crowd in real time. An order in the form of a clear graphic symbol is sent to a semi-organized thousand-headed image. But the creatures living on the far side of the screen never follow orders in strict compliance. Due to the complexity of the communication system, the sent signal undergoes alteration, reminding us that power cannot be unlimited.

The viewer is invited to draw a sign on the touchpad. The humanoid creatures appearing on the screen will line up in the drawn figures.

Вариация саундтрека к видеоигре Михаила Максимова "Знак толпы 1.2", представленной на международной биеннале "Искусство будущего" 2021-2022 в Мультимедиа арт музее, Москва.

Проект «Знак толпы» исследует механизмы авторитарности. В режиме реального времени зритель становится повелителем виртуальной толпы. Живущие по ту сторону экрана существа получают приказ в виде четкого графического символа, но никогда не выполняют его строго. Посланный сигнал, в силу сложности коммуникационной системы, претерпевает изменения, напоминая о том, что власть не может быть безграничной.

Зрителю предлагается нарисовать на тачпаде какой-либо знак. Появляющиеся на экране человекообразные существа будут выстраиваться в начерченные фигуры.

Звук к видеоигре на выставке подготовлен Иваном Напреенко и Кириллом Архиповым.
