Epäorgaanistenrakenteidekierrätys («Рециклизация неорганических структур») служит ретроспективой периода, когда проект существовал в качестве полугерметичного автобиографического нарратива — истории о самом себе, рассказанной для самого себя.

Запись отличается тонкой работой со звуком, нелинейными перепадами настроения и смутными реверансами в сторону электроакустики и американского авангарда. Однако нас она привлекала прежде всего всепоглощающей странностью. Это свойство бывает присуще подслушанным разговорам, суть которых ты разгадать не можешь до конца, но от того они становятся лишь еще интереснее.

Альбом также напоминает о хрупкости прошлого, которое переиначивают события настоящего. Важной фигурой в создании треков-рассказов выступает друг автора из Киева (он также нарисовал обложку). Утраченный в последние месяцы контакт с ним — никакая не метафора, а самый что ни на есть конкретный разрыв в ткани индивидуальной жизни. Подобные разрывы после начала войны ощущают очень многие.

The author of the recording is the Moscow-based media artist Ilya Minin. His work, in his own words, is characterized by ’an unstable auditory range with a vivid aura’ - this is true indeed.

Epäorgaanistenrakenteidekierrätys (’Recycling Inorganic Structures’) serves as a retrospective of the period when the project existed as a semi-hermetic autobiographical narrative — a story about oneself, told for oneself.

The record is notable for its subtle work with sound, non-linear mood swings, and vague reverences toward electroacoustics and the American avant-garde. However, it attracted us above all by its overpowering strangeness. It is characteristic of overheard conversations whose essence you cannot unravel till the end, but because of this they become only more interesting.

The album is also a reminder of the fragility of the past, which is twisted by the events of the present. An important figure in the creation of the story tracks is a friend of the author from Kiev (he also drew the cover). The contact with him, lost in recent months, is not a metaphor, but a very concrete rupture in the fabric of life. Such ruptures have been felt by so many since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began.
