NEN Records представляет международный кавер-сборник песен с альбома Antlers Mulm ‘Touring the Moon Bog’. Antlers Mulm, проект немецкого музыканта Ганса Йома, формально близок пост-индустриальной сцене. Однако Йом всегда чурался плакатных высказываний, предпочитая говорить негромко и даже еле слышно. Удивительно, но сказанное им задевает куда сильнее “акций прямого действие”. Сенситивный минимализм, дарквейв шизоидного толка – жанровые ориентиры в случае Antlers Mulm куда менее важны, чем способность зацепить слушателя за живое.

Touring the Moon Bog – это урок душевной аритмии, подчиненной своему особому метру. В какой-то мере это манифест, что душа твоя не вполне тебе принадлежит, с намеком, что не принадлежит совсем. Твое я, как пустой целлофановый пакет летит по воздуху, ему уже не за что цепляться, и очевидность стала однозначностью: нет у тебя никакого я. Все, что есть, это – пара привычек, пожелтевшая фотка, два сломанных дуба и ускользающее ощущение чьего-то теплого выдоха на твоей щеке. Того, у кого тоже нет никакого я. Только небо, которое тебе не принадлежит и не может принадлежать, и остатки радуги, что тают на горизонте и о которых ты через секунду забудешь.

Touring the Moon Bog доносит это странной ритмикой, которая всегда непредсказуема и возражает ожиданиям. Как ритм капель, стучащих вниз с крыши в бочку с водой - едва ты встроился в их полотно, вычленил удобный размер, как в ту же секунду понял, что обманулся. Никакого ритма у дождевых капель нет, как нет и не было радуги. Эти песни – гимн выдуманой памяти. Они начинаются с ничего и уходят в нужный им момент, который в принципе мог бы быть в любом другом месте. Это не произвольность, а некий закон, который писан не для тебя. Скорее всего потому, что ты не совсем существуешь.

Antlers Mulm удалось принести не предназначенные для нас созвучия, а музыканты, участвующие в сборнике ремиксов и каверов, сделали их нашими, замкнули и оформили. Пусть оформили неверно, но по другому их оформить невозможно.

Кассетное издание представлено в двух вариантах, специальном и обычном: 1) оригинальный альбом в новом мастеринге + кавер-сборник; 2) кавер-сборник.

NEN Records presents an international remix/covers compilation to Antlers Mulm 'Touring the Moon Bog' album. Antlers Mulm, a project by the German musician Hans Johm, is formally close to the post-industrial stage. However, Johm always avoided caps lock talking, and preferred to communicate quietly and even barely audible. Surprisingly, what he says strikes a lot stronger than "direct actions". Sensitive minimalism, darkwave of schizoid accentuation - in case of Antlers Mulm genre marks are far less important than the ability to cut the listener to the quick.

‘Touring the Moon Bog’ is a class on mental arrhythmia, guided by its special meter. To some extent this is a manifesto that your soul is not entirely yours, with a hint that it does not belong to you at all. Your I is like an empty plastic bag flying through the air, it has nothing to cling to, and the appearance becomes obviousness: you have no I. All that you got: a couple of habits, a yellowed photo, two broken oak-trees and a fleeting feeling of someone’s warm exhalation on your cheek. Of someone who has no I like you do. There is only the sky that does not belong and can not belong to anyone, and the remnants of the rainbow that melt on the horizon of which you’ll forget in a moment.

‘Touring the Moon Bog’ conveys this message by a strange rhythm, which always objects to your expectations. As the rhythm pounds like raindrops from the roof into a barrel of water, you slip into its fabric and realize that you’ve been deceived. There is no rhythm to the raindrops as there is no rainbow. These songs are a hymn to invented memories. They begin from nothing and leave at the right time, which could be any other. It is not arbitrary, as a law that wasn’t written for you, most likely because you do not really exist.

Antlers Mulm managed to bring up songs not intended for us, while the participants involved in the remixing and covering, made them our own, harnessed and formalized. The formalization is arguable, of course, but there is no another.

Release features two editions, special and regular: (1) two tapes: original album with a new mastering + covers, remixes, new versions album; (2) single tape: covers, remixes, new versions album
