Θ16, aka Krugom16 is a project by Ivan Napreenko (Sal Solaris, Оцепеневшие, founder of NEN Records), aka Sasha Fersman, a land scientist from the polar city Olenegorsk. The project plot is defined by the word combination "romanticization of the daily life of geologists in the era of the sixth extinction". ‘Граница леса, or ‘Tree Line’ is the debut effort of the project, demonstrating its fundamental features: monotonous or inconsistent beat, field recordings, other. Track titles fix an altitude indicators, where the forest biome passes into a non-forested biome, in other words the line where trees end growing, - in the mountains the author has visited. Album title can be interpreted as a metaphor of transition point where a system changes its stable state to another one, or where chaos organizes itself. Put it in other words, this is music to switch the listener. The release is empowered by two brilliant reworks by Blind Assault and Danny Skripp.

Θ16, он же Кругом16 – проект Ивана Напреенко (Sal Solaris, Оцепеневшие, основатель NEN Records), он же Саша Ферсман, землевед из заполярного города Оленегорск. Задумка проекта описывается словосочетанием «романтизация быта геологов в эпоху шестого вымирания». «Граница леса» - дебютный релиз, демонстрирующий принципиальные черты Кругом16: монотонный или сбивчивый бит, полевые записи, другое. Названия треков фиксируют показатели высоты над уровнем моря, где лесной биом переходит в биом безлесный, иными словами, границу, где перестают расти деревья, – в горах, где был автор. Название альбома можно понимать как метафору точки перехода, где система меняет одно стабильное состояние на другое или в хаосе начинается самоорганизация. Иначе говоря, это музыка, чтобы перещелкнуться. Релиз укреплен двумя гениальными реворками Blind Assault и Danny Skripp.
